Ronaldo Martinez Competes at State One Last Time

Senior Ronaldo Martinez finished 7th overall and Sophomore Bryce Coffey finished 14th overall at Sectionals on Halloween, which punched their tickets to the Division III State Championships. The duo dubbed "Bryce-A-Rony" arrived at the Cave Creek Golf Club ready to represent FHS at State!
Martinez recorded his fastest time of his 2018 competition season, finishing 24th of 236 runners (17:32.51). Coffey finished just 2 seconds behind his personal record time, finishing 59th overall (18:14.08).
Today marked the end of an era as Martinez reported to the starting line for the last time as a member of the FHS Cross Country Team. It appears Martinez has passed the torch to Coffey who earned his way to State in his first season of cross country competition.
