Elsie Hansen has consistently been the FHS XC Girls' Varsity Team's top runner since midway through her freshman year. Hansen, now a junior, has had several teammates take up the #2 spot on our roster. From Devyn Montiel to Andrea Burns, to Daisy Simmons, there hasn't been a consistent #2 runner to join Hansen at the top of the roster.
This season, Zora Fedor stepped into that 2nd spot on the varsity roster and has consistently improved as the season moved on. At our FHS Home Meet on 10/9/24, Hansen finished 2nd overall in the girls' race (27:41), while Fedor finished 4th overall (31:15), leading the way for our girls' varsity team to finish 1st Place in team scoring.
On the boys' side, Blayze Coronel recorded his 5th 1st place finish of the season (18:32). Of the 8 races we've run thus far, Coronel has finished 1st place in 5 of those races, and 2nd place in 2 other races. This young man is definitely making his mark.
