PR Course at Eye of the Tiger

FHS XC ends their competition season at Marana HS just about every year. The flat course set right in the middle of our peak training phase makes for the perfect conditions to set new PRs.

Our boys' team fielded 4 of our 6 runners at Marana HS on 10/19/24, and all 4 had their best finishing times of the season. Blayze Coronel finished 5th overall (16:49.50), collecting his 7th medal finish of the season! This capped off an incredible freshman season for Coronel and FHS XC. Fellow freshman teammate, Andrew Ortiz, set his new PR (22:33.30). David Franco (Jr) also set his new PR (24:41.60). Ciaran Gutierrez (So) had his season best finish (27:12.00).

Elsie Hansen finished the competition season with a new PR as well (22:05.10), finishing 15th overall and earning her 3rd medal of the season. Zora Fedor dropped significant time off her previous best mark with her 26:26.10 finish. Elizabeth Stone (38:08.90) and Sydnei Franco (34:03.50) also set ne PRs.

With our competition season complete, it's now time to look ahead to Crossroads Park for Sectionals on 10/23/24.
