Medal Finishes, Marked Improvement

The newer additions to FHS XC began to see what they are capable of at the Rattler Invitational at Rio Rico High School on 10/10/20. Freshman Tyler Krizan dropped nearly 5 minutes off his previous time with his 25:54.2 finish. Senior Bryce Coffey finished 20th overall in his race (19:22.5), which earned him another medal.

On 10/24/20, FHS XC took on the Eye of the Tiger Invitational. The course at Marana High School proved to be PR friendly as Seniors Aseya Arzate and Steven Prendergast both set their fastest race times of their high school cross country careers (27:40.0 and 33:47.0 respectively). Junior Olivia Hoover competed in her first 5K race, finishing in 30:50.8. Freshman Tyler Krizan continued his improvements with his 24:00.5 finish. Senior Bryce Coffey set a new PR with his 20th place overall finish (18:03.2), adding another medal to his collection in the process.
