The Andrea Burns Era Begins

Andrea Burns (SO) was sidelined for the first half of the season due to injury. Burns made her mark during her freshman year as a member of the track & field team, earning Varsity honors as a stand-out for our mid-distance crew.

Burns had her first taste of cross country competition at our Home Meet on 10/6/21. Her 33:10 finishing time set her mark. Just a few days later at the Rattler In Honor of Richard Haines Invitational at Buena HS on 10/9/21, Burns finished in 28:48, which was the best time recorded by any of our girls this season.
